Camping is a tradition at Iowa Speedway and the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend will offer a complete camping experience for fans.

All RV camping spaces are 25' x 50'.

Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend Camping

RV and travel trailer camping during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend is available in the Turn 3 Terrace Lot and the General Camping Lot (outside of Turns 1 & 2).

Electric Services

Electric service passes are available in the Turn 3 Terrace Lot.

Arrival / Exit

Guests with 4-day camping passes can begin check-in at noon on Thursday, July 21. Guests will need to have departed their camping space by noon on Monday, July 25.

Wristband Policies - Turn 3 Terrace Lot

Camping wristbands are required for access into the Turn 3 Terrace Lot during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR race weekend July 21-24. RV and travel trailer camping passes include six wristbands and they must be worn at all times. Up to four additional wristbands are available for purchase through the Ticket Office.

Trackside - Turn 3 Terrace

• Includes 1 Terrace RV Hill Campsite with 6 RV Hill Admissions per day (patrons may purchase up to 4 more admissions)

Turn 3 Terrace Package includes:

• Located along the Backstretch
• Trackside View ($1,500 pass only)
• 25’ x 50’ spaces
• 50 AMP electric service
• Water service
• One placard for RV/Camper and one towed vehicle sticker
• Terrace Admissions DO NOT include seats in the grandstand

Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend Camping

Tent camping during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend is available in the General Camping Lot (outside of Turns 1 & 2) .

Camping Rules for RV Hill and General Camping Lot:

The following camping policies have been adopted for Camping Areas outside the gates to provide a safe and enjoyable experience to all guests.

Use of the campsite areas is at YOUR OWN RISK and it is your responsibility to insure for all risk of loss as you deem necessary. Campers are responsible for any damage or injury caused while using the campsite. No liability is assumed by INDYCAR (or its affiliates) for loss or damage by fire, theft, bodily injury, communicable disease, or otherwise to you, your guests, your personal property, your belongings, personal items, or your vehicle while using the campsite including if caused by the negligence of released parties. Any degree of violation of these policies may result in ejection from the property.

• Campers must check in and out at the designated time listed on their camping pass.
• Campers must adhere to INDYCAR Code of Conduct and all federal, state, and local laws.
• Campers are required to stay within their assigned campsite.
• Campers must have the appropriate pass for the area on display.
• Vehicles must be self-contained registered campers and recreation vehicles.
• Camping passes do not include grandstand tickets.
• Camping passes include onehanging tag for RV/Camper and one sticker for a tow/companion vehicle.
• The following is a non-exhaustive list of behaviors and/or items that are prohibited at the campsite:
  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive or illegal in nature.
  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment that results in offensive and/or irresponsible behavior.
  • Bringing prohibited items onto Property.

  • Entering or attempting to enter any building or location without authorization.
  • Failure to follow instructions of INDYCAR staff or law enforcement.
  • Verbal or physical harassment of others including guests, participants and INDYCAR staff.
  • Smoking in prohibited areas.
  • Interference with the event.
  • Amplified voice devices that cause disruption to the event.
  • Illegal acts including, but not limited to – theft, vandalism and public indecency.
  • Loud/disruptive music or noise.
• RV Hill:
  • Camping come with a set amount of wristbands, 6 per RV Hill camping spot. Wristband must be worn for admittance into designated areas. Designated areas include RH Hill camping, vender/display area behind grandstands.
